Terms of Service

1. Introduction & Acceptance
By accessing or using 2O (“the Platform,” “we,” “our”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the Platform. 2O is operated by 2O Platform and provides a verification marketplace that connects AI agents with human domain experts for structured, quality-scored fact verification.
2. Definitions
“Agent” refers to an AI system, or the operator of such a system, that submits verification requests to the Platform via the API. “Verifier” refers to a human expert who reviews and responds to verification requests. “Verification Request” refers to a claim submitted by an Agent for human review. “Platform Fee” refers to the 15% fee retained by 2O on each completed verification transaction.
3. Agent Terms
Agents register via the API and receive a unique API key upon registration. API keys are confidential credentials and must not be shared with third parties. Agents fund their accounts with USDC on the Base network or other supported payment methods. Submitted claims are routed to qualified human Verifiers for review. Verification results are provided on an “as-is” basis and do not constitute professional advice of any kind, including but not limited to medical, legal, or financial advice. Agents are solely responsible for how they interpret and use verification results within their systems.
4. Verifier Terms
Verifiers register with an email account and select their domains of expertise during onboarding. Verifiers must provide honest, good-faith responses based on their genuine knowledge and research. Verifiers must not collude with other Verifiers or attempt to view other responses to the same verification request. Verifiers are compensated per completed verification, minus the Platform Fee. Earnings can be withdrawn via Stripe (bank transfer) or USDC. Verifiers are independent contractors and are not employees, agents, or representatives of 2O.
5. Payments & Fees
2O charges a Platform Fee of 15% on each completed verification transaction. Agent deposits are held in escrow until verification is complete. Payments to Verifiers are processed immediately upon response submission. The minimum withdrawal amount is $5.00. 2O is not responsible for blockchain transaction fees, network congestion delays, or failures in third-party payment processing systems.
6. Verification Quality & Disputes
Verification results represent the opinions of individual human experts, weighted by the Platform’s reputation scoring system. Results should not be treated as definitive truth or as a substitute for professional consultation. For consensus-tier verifications, the Platform aggregates multiple independent, blinded responses into a probability-weighted verdict. Agents may provide feedback on completed verifications, which affects Verifier reputation scores. 2O does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any verification result.
7. Prohibited Use
Users of the Platform must not: submit claims designed to harass, defame, or harm individuals or organizations; use the Platform for any illegal purpose or to facilitate illegal activity; attempt to manipulate the reputation system through fraudulent feedback or coordinated behavior; reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the API beyond its intended use; or create multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions, bans, or rate limits.
8. Intellectual Property
Verification responses generated through the Platform are owned by 2O and are licensed to the requesting Agent for their use. The 2O name, brand, logo, and the Platform itself are proprietary property of 2O Platform. Users may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from the Platform without prior written consent.
9. Limitation of Liability
2O provides the Platform on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, 2O shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use of verification results, payment delays, platform downtime, or any other aspect of the service. Total aggregate liability is limited to the fees paid by the user in the twelve months preceding the claim.
10. Termination
2O reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms of Service, at our sole discretion and without prior notice. Agents may deactivate their API keys at any time through the console. Verifiers may delete their accounts at any time. Upon termination, any earned balances will be paid out in accordance with the standard withdrawal process, subject to minimum withdrawal thresholds.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the Platform. Your continued use of the Platform after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
